For more than 40 years, PVJSA has provided youth basketball programs for families throughout our community. Our nonprofit organization offers recreational leagues in the fall, winter, and spring for grades 2nd-8th; competitive travel teams for grades 3–8; and instructional clinics in the fall and spring.

PVJSA Elite Basketball Program

September 23, 2026

PVJSA typically fields multiple travel teams in grades 3–8. Teams practice weekly from September through mid-March, compete in preseason tournaments, and participate in the ICBA Travel Basketball League. Player evaluations are generally done in the Spring to secure a spot for the following travel season.

Winter Recreation Season – Registration will be open by October 15th.

Our Winter Recreation Season runs from January through March. Teams play eight regular-season weekend games plus playoffs and  practice one weeknight per week.  Divisions are 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th/6th,  7th/8th Grades 2–4 play Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Grades 5–8 play Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or Sundays between 11:30 a.m.…
