PVJSA is thrilled to kick off our 2022-2023 Winter season!

Our Winter season runs from January through March with weekly games and practices for players in 2nd-8th grades. Our divisions are broken down by grade(s). Teams will be comprised of 8 or 9 players per team and coached by volunteers (parents, family members, etc). For all age groups outside of our 2nd grade (Junior Select Division) we will be forming teams by a combination of a draft / friend request. The purpose of the draft is to help make teams even while also pairing with friends/classmates.

The games for 2nd-6th graders will take place on Saturdays and our 7th & 8th graders will play their games on Sundays. Each team will have a weekly practice during the week. All practices and games will take place at the gyms at the local schools in the area.

Please note: Our 2nd grade division “Juniors Select” may not have a weekly practice and instead meet for a team practice before the game each Saturday. We are finalizing those details as we know weeknight scheduling for that age group can be tricky.

We will be holding evaluations in November/December for all players outside of 2nd grade. This will help with the draft and forming of teams.
